Boldy and Posca are on their third tape together now. 1LB was the first one, Magnolia Leflore after that, and now Hook, Line & Sinker. Seven tracks, 21 minutes. Posca actually told me this was coming when I saw Boldy live back in October so I'd been waiting on it.
the samples
Posca's sample choices are just stupid good. I don't know how else to say it. That sample on Pint of Purple specifically is the reason I keep coming back to this whole project. I've played it probably 30 times already since it dropped. Advanced Children is right there with it. Champagne Rolls and Crime Scene are both super solid too so really the whole middle of the tape is just on repeat for me lol.
posca on the mic
The thing that got me the most honestly is Posca rapping on this one. Three tapes of just producing for Boldy and now he's actually on the mic. And he did it in French. I thought that was super dope. Conway shows up too and that feature hits.
